BURKE — A 24-year-old Canadian man crashed into a tree and a house in Burke yesterday evening.

The incident took place on East Darling Hill Road at around 6:49 p.m.

According to the police report, the driver was identified as Philippe Harrigan, of New Brunswick.

Police say he was headed east at that time and failed to properly navigate a curve, causing him to leave the roadway and strike a tree before hitting the house.
