THETFORD — A 18-year-old man from Massachusetts was arrested for excessive speed and reckless endangerment in Thetford this morning.

Police say they clocked a 2008 Subaru Impreza on radar traveling north at 111 miles-per-hour while patrolling Interstate 91 at around 9:17 a.m.

State Police pulled over the vehicle shortly after it had passed another in the rain.

The Wilbraham driver, who had a passenger in the vehicle, was subsequently arrested and later processed in Bradford, police say.

He was released after being issued a citation for excessive speed and reckless endangerment.

He is scheduled to appear in court on April 22.
