Driver charged with leaving the scene after crash in St. Johnsbury

St. JOHNSBURY — A 39-year-old man from New Hampshire was cited for leaving the scene of an accident in St. Johnsbury yesterday.

The crash took place on Interstate 91 at around 2:50 p.m.

Police say David Woods, 39, attempted to leave the scene after his 2010 Toyota Tundra struck the side of a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by 50-year-old Jeff Harris, of Wolcott.

Woods was issued a citation to appear in court on May 18 to answer to the charge
