DANVILLE — Police say a 53-year-old man from Groton was arrested after a crash in Danville yesterday.
Troopers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash with injuries near 1790 Oneida Road at around 8:30 p.m.
Harry Vann, 67, of Peacham, told police he was traveling at approximately 20 miles-per-hour when his vehicle lost traction and left the roadway.
Shortly after Michael McDermott, 53, of Groton, came down the same hill and similarly lost traction.
McDermott side-swiped Vann before leaving the roadway.
Police say following an investigation McDermott was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
A passenger in McDermott’s vehicle was taken to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital for treatment of a minor arm injury, police say.
