ST. JOHNSBURY — Police say a Granby man will face DUI charges after a crash in St. Johnsbury early this morning.
At around 12:15 a.m. police received a report of a single-vehicle rollover at Pettyco Junction.
Police say the driver, identified as 51-year-old Robert Spicer, was able to self-extricate himself from the overturned vehicle.
According to the report, Spicer was traveling east on US Route 2 when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road.
The vehicle then rolled over and slid into the Pettyco Junction parking lot where it collided with a cement barrier next to the gas pumps.
Spicer was transported to NVRH for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
While speaking with Spicer, police say he was showing signs of impairment and processed for DUI.
Police were assisted at the scene by CALEX EMS and the St. Johnsbury Fire Department.
