MORRISTOWN — Police have arrested a Hardwick woman in connection with an arson investigation that began in Morristown last month.

Shayanne Poleio, 28, of Hardwick, was arrested on October 1 and charged with fourth-degree arson.

On September 24, the Morristown Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire on Cote Hill Road.

A wooden shed on the property was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.

The shed, which was approximately 8 feet by 8 feet, and all of its contents were completely consumed in the fire.

A red vehicle was seen coming and going from the fire scene just prior to, and immediately after the fire.

Police say Poleio’s father owns the property.
