Hardwick woman seriously injured after crash in Walden

WALDEN — Police responded to a head-on collision with serious injuries in Walden on Tuesday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 15 at around 7:45 a.m.

Fire and EMS crews extracted Dawn Hill, 46, of Hardwick, from her vehicle.

Hill was transferred to the hospital with serious injuries, police say.

The second driver, Tanya Obrien, 38, of Danville, suffered minor injuries.

According to the report, Hill had crossed the centerline before the collision.

Members of the Vermont State Police Crash Reconstruction Team responded to the scene as well, and police are still investigating this crash.
