DANVILLE — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in Danville on Saturday.
The crash took place on US Route 2 at around 2:52 p.m.
At the crash scene, emergency workers say when they arrived a vehicle driven by Cynthia Gauthier, 67, of Danville, was in the middle of the road, and the second vehicle driven by Richard Baker, 74, of Barre, against a guardrail further down the road.
According to the report, Baker had fallen asleep and veered into the oncoming lane of traffic, sideswiping Gauthier.
Police say Gauthier was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and Baker was checked out on scene by Calex and medically cleared.
