ST. JOHNSBURY — A traffic stop led to the arrest of a man and a woman for selling drugs in St. Johnsbury yesterday.
Caitlin Dimas, 31, of Concord, was arrested for two previously conducted controlled sales of cocaine base and heroin after a stop on Breezy Hill Road at around 3:00 p.m.
Police say that Dimas had 7.8 grams of cocaine base and 172 bags of heroin at the time of her arrest.
Brandon Watson-Collins, 37, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was also arrested by police during the same traffic stop for two previously conducted controlled sales of cocaine base and heroin.
Police say the arrest of Dimas and Watson-Collins was the conclusion of an investigation that began in December of 2019, conducted by members of the Vermont Drug Task Force.
Dimas and Watson-Collins were both lodged at the NE Correction Facility for lack of bail and are scheduled to appear in court today to face the above-listed charges.
