LYNDONVILLE — A 52-year-old Brownington man is facing charges after police say they caught him with stolen license plates in Lyndonville on Saturday.

During the investigation, police allege Stephen Rockwell was in possession of the stolen plates which were recovered at a home on Back Center Road just after 11:00 p.m.

Yesterday, police further found Rockwell provided false information to law enforcement, by attempting to implicate another.

He was issued a citation to appear in court on July 27 to answer to the charges of possession of stolen property, and false reports to law enforcement authorities
