LYNDON — Police say a 31-year-old man is facing multiple charges following an incident in Lyndon on Monday.

Authorities were notified of an active fight on East Street at around 1:09 a.m.

According to police, Trevor Gaouette, of Lyndon, caused injury to a domestic partner as well as a 22-year-old woman at the scene.

Gaouette allegedly drove to the scene and was believed to be under the influence of intoxicants.

Police say Gaouette had two sets of active pre-trial court conditions of release and found that he violated 5 of the conditions.

He was transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing and later transported to court for arraignment to answer the charges of domestic assault, simple assault, DUI, violation of conditions of release, and offense committed within the presence of a child.
