Police: Man caused over $2,000 worth of damage at warming shelter in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY — Police say a 27-year-old man is facing charges of unlawful mischief and disorderly conduct following an incident in St. Johnsbury yesterday.

Police responded to a report of a disorderly male at an NHKS warming shelter at around 5:00 p.m.

Police said that Kasey Giorgio, of St.Johnsbury, caused over $2,000 in damage to property at the shelter.

Giorgio was later located at Northeast Vermont Regional Hospital and taken into custody, police say.

He was cited to appear in court on January 15 to answer to the charges.
