Police: St. Albans man cited for doing 120-miles-per-hour on I-89

ST. ALBANS — A 47-year-old man was cited for excessive speeding in St. Albans on Saturday.

Police say they were conducting traffic enforcement on Interstate 89 at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

According to the report, Aaron Rembert, of St. Albans, was observed via RADAR traveling at speeds of 120 miles-per-hour in a 65 miles-per-hour zone.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop, at which time Rembert was issued a ticket.

He was also issued a citation to appear in court on June 21 for the charges of careless and negligent operation.
