LYNDON — A 17-year-old Lyndon man suffered injuries during a single-vehicle crash yesterday evening.
Police were dispatched to the crash scene which took place at the intersection of Vermont Route 122 and Mathewson Hill in Lyndon, at around 5:00 p.m.
According to the report, it was determined that the 17-year-old driver was headed north before leaving the roadway.
Police say he attempted to turn onto Mathewson Hill Road, then attempted to turn back onto VT Route 122.
The vehicle struck a dirt embankment just north of the intersection, rolled over, and landed back on all four tires in the southbound lane.
Police say both the operator and passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time.
They were transported to NVRH for evaluation, but there is no information yet as to their injuries.
