RV crash closes section of Route 2 in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY — A 56-year-old woman from Maine was involved in a single-vehicle crash in St. Johnsbury on Saturday.

An RV trailer was spotted laying on its side along Route 2, at the intersection of Route 18, at around 9:18 p.m.

The driver was identified as Diana Loomis, of Farmington, ME.

According to the report, Loomis was headed east on Route 2 and failed to navigate the turn.

The RV trailer detached from the truck and landed in the westbound travel lane.

Police say nobody was injured during this crash.

Route 2 was closed for a portion a time while the RV was being removed.
