LYNDON — A 39-year-old man from St. Johnsbury was arrested for his second DUI, as well as cruelty to a child, following an incident in Lyndon yesterday.
Police say they observed a moving violation on Route 5 at around 12:35 a.m.
During the traffic stop, police say they noticed the odor of intoxicants and observed a child in the vehicle.
Police ran the driver, identified as Brian A. Greene, through standard field sobriety testing.
At the conclusion of the tests Greene was arrested for suspicion of DUI, and was transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation.
