Two-car crash with injuries in Walden

WALDEN — A 46-year-old woman from New Hampshire, and an 18-year-old man from Walden, were injured during a two-vehicle crash this morning.

At around 9:00 a.m. police responded to the scene on Vermont Route 15, near the intersection of Noyestar Road in Walden.

Police say evidence and witness statements indicate that a Jeep, driven by Raymond Lewis was headed east when it crossed the center line and collided with a van.

The van was being driven by Jennifer Thompson, who sustained what police describe as “non-life threatening injuries.”

She was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

According to the report, Lewis was taken to Copley for minor injuries.

This investigation into the crash remains active, police say.
