Two women arrested after incident in Lyndon

LYNDON — A 26-year-old Sheffield woman and a 36-year-old Lyndon woman, were arrested after an incident yesterday.

State police responded to a reported dispute on Back Center Road in Lyndon at around 11:09 a.m.

According to the police report, Sally Simons threatened and assaulted Kimberly Rooney, 36, of Lyndon.

Police learned that Rooney had an active arrest warrant while investigating.
She was arrested and transported to Northeast Regional Correctional Center for the arrest warrant on $200 bail.

Simons was taken into custody for the assault and later lodged at Northeast Regional Correctional Center on $2,500 bail.
