Walden woman arrested for pointing a firearm at someone at Butch’s Harvest’ore

WALDEN — A 58-year-old woman was arrested for reckless endangerment following an incident in Walden yesterday.

Police were notified that a woman was threatening someone with a firearm at Butch’s Harvest’ore on Vermont Route 15 at around 12:50 p.m.

According to the police report, Carrie Legus, of Walden, pointed a firearm at another woman while threatening her.

Police took Legus into custody and transported her to the State Police St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.

She was later released on conditions of release and is set to appear in court today.
