ST. ALBANS — A Berkshire man wanted by police for aggravated assault is in custody.

Police say on Tuesday night they responded to a report in St. Albans City that 19-year-old Ethan Carr refused to leave the premises of a home on Cedar Street.

Police say he claimed to possess a firearm during the incident.

He left after the police were called, and was later found and detained on $5,000 bail.

Carr is set to appear in court on the charge of unlawful trespass, as well as his arrest warrant for aggravated assault.
