Burglary in Swanton

SWANTON — Police say they are investigating a burglary that occurred in Swanton on Saturday.

The burglary took place at a home on N. River Street at around 1:17 p.m.

Surveillance footage revealed that at nearly 3:25 p.m, two individuals arrived at the property in a black pickup truck with an unknown registration, cut the lock securing the door, and unlawfully entered the premises.

Police say the two individuals are seen in the video taking four, 30-inch doors, an HVAC, and an empty 5-gallon bucket.

They left the property heading north towards Alburgh.

The doors are described to be four brand-new, white, 30-inch interior house doors.

State Police are looking for anyone with information about the identity of these individuals or details of this event.
