Driver injured after two-vehicle crash on Route 105, Sheldon

SHELDON — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Sheldon yesterday.

The crash took place at the intersection on Woods Hill Road and Route 105 at around 4:10 p.m.

According to the report, the driver, Roy Fortin, 82, of Sheldon, was entering Route 105 from Woods Hill Road.

He was struck by a 16-year-old driver from Enosburg.

He was transported to the hospital for neck injuries and a head laceration, police say.

The intersection was closed to one lane as the Sheldon Fire Department and AmCare Ambulance Service responded to the scene.

Both vehicles were removed and the road was reopened at 5:15 p.m.
