SHELDON — A 26-year-old Fairfield man was arrested for DUI following a crash in Sheldon earlier this month.
On April 15, police were notified of a vehicle driving erratically on Vermont Route 105 at around 2:20 p.m.
Police say a few minutes later they were notified that the vehicle crashed at the intersection of Vermont Route 120.
According to the police report, the driver, identified as Sean McCoy, had gone off the road and entered a ditch.
Police say McCoy was driving while impaired and he was arrested for DUI.
He was processed at the St. Albans State Police barracks and issued a citation to appear in court on June 29 to answer to the charge.
