FRANKLIN — A 46-year-old Franklin man was arrested for domestic assault and violation of conditions of release following an incident that occurred last Friday.

Police say they received an open 911 line from a residence on Colton Road in Franklin at around 9:10 p.m.

According to police, John Still picked up the phone and said that one of his kids had dialed 911 and that no response was needed while they were en route to his home.

Police said that Still had fled the home on foot after hanging up with the dispatch when they arrived.

According to the report, Still was the aggressor in an assault that occurred in the home.

Police say they searched the immediate area at the time but were unable to locate him.

Yesterday police made contact with Still at his home and took him into custody without incident.

He was arrested and transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.
