Franklin man held without bail after making threats with a knife

FRANKLIN — A 32-year-old man was arrested following an incident with a knife in Franklin yesterday.

Police were notified of an emergency 911 call on Hanna Road at around 8:25 a.m.

According to the report, police allege that Kevin Daskalides, of Franklin, had committed the crime of first degree aggravated domestic assault by threatening the victims with a ceramic knife, as well as slapping one victim across the face and grabbing them by the throat.

Daskalides was in violation of his conditions of release.

He was arrested and transported to the State Police St. Albans barracks for processing.

After processing, he was transported to Franklin County District Court and ordered held without bail.
