SWANTON — Police say a woman and her grandson were attacked during a home invasion in Swanton early Monday morning.

Police responded to the scene on Blake Street at around 4 a.m.

Two teens allegedly broke down the door of the home before attacking a minor with a gaming system, as well as a television.

The woman stepped in to help her grandson before being dragged out of the room and attacked herself, police say.

The suspects went on to steal or destroy personal property inside the home belonging to the victims.

A 15-year-old suspect was captured by Border Patrol agents who arrived on the scene before police, however, the second suspect got away.

Police say an arrest warrant was issued for the second suspect.

Both are underage, and police have not released their names to the public.

They say the incident was targeted, and the suspect at large does not pose a threat to the general public.
