SHELDON — A 61-year-old St. Albans man was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Sheldon on Saturday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 105.
According to the police report, John Gamache was headed west when he approached the sharp corner near the intersection of Woods Hill Riad.
Gamache was driving a tractor-trailer unit with a full milk tank.
Police say the rig was operating at a speed “imprudent for the layout of the road,” and the vehicle overturned onto its side.
The Sheldon Fire Department, AmCare, and state police responded to the scene.
While removing the unit the road was temporarily shut down.
