Single-vehicle crash with injury, St. Albans

ST. ALBANS — A 53-year-old woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash in St. Albans on Wednesday morning.

The crash took place on Interstate 89.

The driver, identified as Wendy Patch, of St. Albans, was headed north when she lost control of her 2004 Jeep Liberty.

She hit a guardrail causing the vehicle to overturn.

Amcare and St. Albans Fire responded to assist, and Patch was transported to Northwest Medical Center.

The Interstate was shut down for a short period.
