St. Albans man arrested for DUI, driving with criminally suspended license

ST. ALBANS — A 43-year-old man driving with a criminally suspended license was arrested for DUI in St. Albans yesterday.

Police say they conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Main Street at around 10:28 p.m.

The driver was identified as Daniel T. Hill, of St. Albans.

Police say Hill showed signs of alcohol impairment and was screened for DUI.

Following an investigation, police said that Hill’s privilege to operate a motor vehicle was under a criminal suspension.

Hill was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the St. Albans State Police barracks for processing.

He was released on a citation to appear in court on February 10 to answer to the charge of criminal DLS and DUI.
