HIGHGATE — An 18-year-old man from Highgate who was stabbed September 3 outside a St. Albans hotel, then arrested a few days later after police say he and his girlfriend attempted an assault and armed robbery, was involved in another incident Monday night.

At around 6:40 p.m., police say they responded to a disturbance on Shipyard Road in Highgate.

According to the report Tyler Bushey had been in contact with an individual despite having been released on conditions not to have contact with this individual earlier in the day.

According to state police, ‘’Bushey expressed his discontent with police presence by slamming his fists on the hood of a cruiser and directing several expletives at them on scene.”

Police say he was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.

He was released on a citation to appear in Franklin County District Court today.
