St. Albans woman injured in rollover crash on I-89

MILTON — A St. Albans woman sustained minor injuries during a rollover crash on Interstate 89 early this morning.

Police responded to the crash which took place in Milton at around 1:32 a.m.

According to the police report, both cars were headed north.

Patricia Nestork, 78, of Charlotte told police she thought she saw something blow across the road in front of her and she quickly merged into the passing lane causing a collision.

The second vehicle, driven by Christine Vallee, 34 of St. Albans, told police that she tried to slow down to avoid the collision, but Nestork merged into her lane too quickly.

Police say Nestork was not injured during the crash, and Vallee sustained minor injuries to her knee and was transported to the hospital.
