Swanton man arrested for DUI #2

ST. ALBANS — A 31-year-old man from Swanton was arrested for his second DUI following an incident in St. Albans yesterday.

Police say they were conducting a high visibility motor vehicle enforcement detail along Route 7.

They say a vehicle was seen driving erratically near the Energizer factory at around 11:26 p.m.

Police pulled over the vehicle and identified the driver as Travis Salter.

Salter was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI.

He was transported to the State Police barracks and processed.

He was later released on a citation to appear in court on March 23 to answer the charge of DUI#2.
