SHELDON — Police responded to a two-car crash in Sheldon yesterday.
Police say Warden Hungerford advised dispatch as he was rear-ended on VT 105 near Sweet Hollow Road at around 4:29 a.m.
According to the police report, a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Amber Miller, 30, of Fairfield, failed to stop and hit Hungerford’s car while he was waiting to turn left.
Police say Miller’s car ended up in the ditch near a home of Shawville Road.
According to the report, the cause of the crash was determined as inattention by Miller.
Police say her license was also under suspension criminally.
She was cited to appear in court on December 23.
