BAKERSFIELD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Bakersfield on Tuesday.

The crash took place in the area of Vermont 36 and Cross Road at around 3:40 p.m.

One of the vehicles involved was a Subaru outback driven by an 18-year-old from Bakersfield.

Another vehicle was a VTrans plow truck driven by Raymond Myott, 60, of Enosburg Falls.

Police say the young driver failed to safely stop behind the plow truck that was stopped to let oncoming traffic through a narrow bridge.

Road conditions were a factor in this crash, police say.
