SWANTON — Police say a 33-year-old Grand Isle woman was arrested for her second DUI in Swanton early this morning.
Police say an off duty State trooper called in an erratic driver on Route 105 headed towards Saint Albans at around 12:15 a.m.
Another motorist called in as well, and the vehicle was spotted just east of Gallaghers Corner, police say.
Police identified the driver as Cassandra Latimer-Arington.
She admitted to drinking and failed all roadside dexterity tests, police say.
Latimer-Arington was arrested on the scene after a preliminary breath sample showed her to be over the legal limit.
Police took her to detox and issued her a citation for DUI #2.
She was ordered to appear in court in December.
