JEFFERSONVILLE — A 23-year-old Waterville man was arrested for his second DUI yesterday evening.

Police were notified that a vehicle went off the roadway near Edwards Road in Jeffersonville, at around 9:21 p.m.

The caller told police that they believed the operator was impaired.

Police say the vehicle had left the area before they arrived at the location.

They later located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver, identified as Nathan Lynch, showed signs of impairment, police say.

After investigating, police say they found Lynch to be under the influence of alcohol.

He was transported to the state police for processing and released with a citation to appear in court.
