WESTFORD — A 22-year-old Jeffersonville man was involved in a single-car crash after hitting a tree in Westford early this morning.

Police responded to the crash on Route 15 at the intersection of Hobart Hill Lane, at around 5:45 a.m.

Police identified the vehicle as a 2004 Honda CR-V driven by Aaron Blais.

Blais told police that he was headed east when he saw a dead deer in the middle of the road.

He swerved around it and went off the road into the ditch hitting a tree.

It came to a stop tipped over on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Blais was transported by Fairfax Rescue to the hospital with suspected minor injuries, including a dislocated shoulder, police say.
