MACC looking for artist for downtown Morrisville mural

1 min read

MORRISVILLE — The Morrisville Alliance for Culture & Commerce is looking for the services of a professional artist in order to create a mural that is artsy and represents downtown Morrisville in a creative way.

Three 4’x8’ panels will be installed on the Portland Street side of the Green Dragon building.

MACC will provide three sheets of ½” MDO plywood for the panels.

Proposals for the mural are due December 15, and the stipend for this project is $2,500.

The artist has to be a resident of Vermont, with preference given to residents of Lamoille County.

The organization says the artist will be responsible for creating a mural that will withstand the weather using exterior grade materials.

No direct label advertising or logos are allowed, as well as no religious, political or social disrespect.

This is a public display and therefore the finished product must be appropriate for all audiences.
