CAMBRIDGE — Police say a 38-year St. Albans man was arrested on multiple charges early yesterday morning, including taking deer in a closed season.

Vermont Game Wardens and the Vermont State Police were dispatched to Upper Pleasant Valley Road in Cambridge, for a report of someone using a spotlight in a field at around 1:00 a.m.

When troopers and wardens arrived in the area they found Jesse Roy walking out of the field.

Police say Roy was found to be in violation of an abuse protection order.

He was also cited for spotting and locating wildlife, and taking deer in a closed season.

Roy was released with a citation to appear in court on December 12, to answer to the charges.
