Morristown man arrested after urinating on state police barracks, assaulting troopers

WILLISTON — A 36-year-old resident of Morristown is facing multiple charges following an incident in Williston on Friday.

Police say a man came to the police barracks in Williston requesting to speak with them at around 7:35 p.m.

When troopers arrived the man, identified as Joshua M. Lucier, was urinating on the front of the barracks.

While speaking with Lucier, police say he suddenly attacked one of them and after a brief altercation, he was taken into custody.

Williston Fire and Rescue responded to treat the man and transported him to UVM Medical Center for further treatment.

Police say no troopers were injured as a result of this incident.

Lucier is scheduled to appear before the court on February 25 to answer the charges of assault on law enforcement, aggravated disorderly conduct, and prohibited acts.
