MORRISTOWN — Winter is fast approaching, which means parking rules are about to change in Morristown.
There will be a winter parking ban on town highways and village streets between the hours of midnight and 07:00 a.m. in effect as of November 15, 2019 through May 15, 2020.
Vehicles left on the village streets and town highways or right of ways will be ticketed and possibly towed at the owner’s expense.
The town of Morristown says they would also like to remind those who are doing winter plowing that they are not to plow and leave snow in or on the town or village highways or sidewalks.
This is hazardous to motorists and carries a fine of up to $1,000.
