Police: Cambridge man charged with disorderly conduct after punching neighbor

CAMBRIDGE — A 57-year-old man was charged following an incident in Cambridge on Friday.

Police were notified of a citizen dispute at a home on Whitefield Drive at around 9:06 p.m.

According to the report, police allege that William Marlette, of Cambridge, had shoved and punched a neighbor.

Police say the neighbor was not seriously injured.

Marlette sustained facial injuries that were later treated at the hospital.

He was issued a citation to appear in court on September 16 for the offense of disorderly conduct and a pending charge of simple assault.
