Police: Cambridge man shot in abdomen

CAMBRIDGE — Today, the Vermont Chief Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy on the man who was shot and killed in Cambridge yesterday. 

Authorities say 39-year-old Michael Haines died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The manner of death is still considered a homicide.

Haines was a resident of the home on Hillside Drive where the shooting occurred.

Investigators say they are pursuing multiple leads, but no arrests have been made. 

Haines was found dead at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
