Rolled tanker truck spills milk into local stream, Eden

EDEN — A tanker that rolled in Eden last night resulted in milk flowing into a nearby stream.

Police responded to a tractor-trailer rollover on Route 118 at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

According to the report, an undetermined amount of milk leaked from the tanker unit into a nearby stream.

The Vermont Department of Natural Resources was contacted and is coordinating a cleanup.

The truck and trailer were finally removed from the scene at around 2:00 a.m. this morning.

Police say the investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
