Vermont Association of Broadcasters inducts Roland Lajoie into Hall of Fame

MORRISVILLE — Roland Lajoie is being inducted into the Vermont Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

Lajoie began his career in 1976 at WSNO-AM in Barre and went on to WRFB-FM in Stowe, WDEV-AM/FM in Waterbury, and eventually WLVB-FM in Morrisville.

He’s been the host of Vermont Country Morning since 1993.

A tireless organizer of activities in Lamoille County, he has been working on Chris’ Turkey Challenge for years, delivering 1,866 Thanksgiving dinners last year.

Lajoie volunteers for several non-profits and with his warm personality and true commitment to society is a reliable friend to the Lamoille County area.

As WLVB’s Program Director, Lajoie says he believes in radio’s ability to build community.
