Woman wanted by police arrested on crack cocaine possession, Newbury

NEWBURY — A 32-year-old woman from New Hampshire was arrested following an incident in Newbury yesterday.

While investigating a theft, police say they contacted Ranae Ross, of Littleton, NH, in the parking of the P and H Truck Stop at around 6:46 p.m.

Ross had an extraditable warrant from the state of New Hampshire, and police took her into custody.

Police say they found Ross in possession of crack cocaine following a search.

She was transported to the Vermont State Police barracks for processing and ordered held on $1,500 bail.

She was transported to Northern State Corrections in Newport for lack of bail and scheduled to appear in court today to answer to the charges of fugitive from justice, possession of crack cocaine.
