Barre to launch new brand and growth initiative Barre Rock Solid, Dec. 11

BARRE — Barre will kick off new brand and marketing initiatives for greater Barre with a community celebration at the historic Barre Opera House on December 11.

The celebration will start at 7 p.m.

The night will feature a preview in the lobby of the advertising campaign, “Barre Rock Solid” and three web portals supporting the Three Pillars of Growth – new residents, new businesses, and new visitors.

It will be followed by a showing in the theater of a sampling of the 17 films produced to promote Barre people, businesses, and attractions.

“We’re incredibly excited for people to learn about the institutions, culture and opportunities that make Barre one of the most unique places to live, do business and visit,” said Sarah Field, President of BADC.

The show will be opened by one of Barre’s favorite bands, Native Tongue, and there will be light refreshments and a cash bar available.

The public is invited, and there is no charge for the event.
