PLAINFIELD — A 33-year-old Plainfield woman with a criminally suspended license was arrested for her second DUI, after a crash with injury near the Plainfield/Marshfield town line on Saturday.

Police responded to the single-vehicle crash which took place on Main Street at around 8:10 p.m.

The driver, identified as Belinda Dejesus, was transported to the Central Vermont Medical Center for an evaluation.

The passenger in the vehicle was transported as well, police say.

Dejesus had hit the end of a guardrail causing significant damage to the front end of the vehicle.

She was interviewed by police at the hospital and they determined she was under the influence of alcohol.

Police also found that Dejesus had a criminally suspended license.

Police took Dejesus into custody and brought her to the Barre City Police Department for DUI processing.

She was ultimately cited to appear in court on January 2 to answer to the offenses of DUI #2 and DLS.
