WILLISTON — Police say they have identified the man who was involved in two incidents involving a deadly weapon back in July.

Police opened an investigation on July 27, and another on August 14, where a man in a white truck reportedly pointed a firearm at motorists on I-89 in Chittenden county.

A motorist captured a photograph of the white truck involved.

Following an investigation, police say Cody Fischer, 25, of Williston, was identified as the suspect in this case.

Yesterday State police charged Fischer with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated disorderly conduct, and reckless endangerment.

He was issued a citation for these charges.
