WAITSFIELD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Waitsfield yesterday.

The crash took place in the area of Main Street and Mad River Green at around 5:40 p.m.

According to the report, both vehicles were headed north on Main Street when Benjamin Smith, 28, of Waitsfield, signaled to take a left on Mad River Green, but had stopped to let pedestrians cross the street.

Police say Peter Fabbioli, 30, of Barre, then rear-ended Smith’s vehicle.

Fabbioli’s vehicle was towed from the road and Smith’s vehicle was able to be driven away.

Police say all parties involved declined EMS services.

State Police were assisted on scene by members of the Waitsfield Fire Department.
